SUSTAINABILITY POLICY AND ACTIVITIES

As Ramada Plaza By Wyndham Istanbul Tekstilkent Hotel, we are proud to have contributed to the development of our country for over 10 years. In our sustainability journey, which we have embarked on to always do better, we have determined our sustainability approach as “Continuously Developing and Progressing”. We see sustainability as an integral part of our corporate approach and accept and undertake to implement and enforce all our priorities and principles that we have determined within the axis of sustainability, with the participation of our employees, aiming for continuous development.

As Ramada Plaza By Wyndham Istanbul Tekstilkent Hotel, we adopt the principles given below as a general framework with this Sustainability Policy:

• To be a permanent supporter of an understanding that will carry out all our activities in line with all other United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, especially gender equality, decent work and economic growth, industry, innovation, infrastructure and climate action.

• To comply with the highest ethical standards in the sector in which we operate, to act in accordance with the legislation in force and relevant international standards and corporate governance principles.

• To carry out activities that increase the share of renewable energy resources in the total energy supply for purposes that will contribute to the fight against climate change, to reduce our energy use with energy efficiency practices, to measure and reduce greenhouse gas emissions generated in our activities, and to actively contribute to our country's green transformation process.

• To continuously control our processes in order to protect the environment and biodiversity by reducing our ecological footprint throughout our value chain, to contribute to our business and the circular economy.

• To take all measures in light of the best health and safety standards to provide a working environment with humane conditions.

• To prevent discrimination in all our processes, to create opportunities for the employment of women, youth and disadvantaged groups.

• To provide equal opportunities to our employees in all areas, to carry out recruitment, career development and promotion processes transparently and fairly.

• To regularly evaluate the opinions and suggestions of our employees in order to keep their satisfaction levels at the highest level, and to implement the necessary improvement activities.

• To increase our product and service quality with a continuous development perspective and to carry out improvement activities in order to ensure guest satisfaction, which is one of our highest priorities.

• To support the development of our suppliers by adopting sustainable supply chain practices in our purchasing processes.

• To regularly review our activities and processes in the field of sustainability, to determine targets and metrics in light of the identified risks and opportunities, and to share our sustainability performance transparently with all our stakeholders in light of the principles of transparency and accountability at international standards.

This policy aims to set forth the policy regarding our Hotel's sustainability approach and commitments.

SCOPE OF THE POLICY

This policy covers all our stakeholders including our employees, subcontractors, suppliers, visitors, and local people.

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE POLICY AND RELATED LEGISLATION

This policy has been prepared by concretizing and organizing these rules within the scope of our Company's practices in addition to the current legislation and international standards.

In the event of any inconsistency between the current legislation and international standards and this policy, Ramada Plaza By Wyndham Istanbul Tekstilkent Hotel accepts that the current legislation will prevail.
